Team Biographies

Mike McNeil, General Manager/Membership Director

Mike is a native of Rochester who developed his passion for the Rochester Golf and Country Club early in life while caddying in his teens. He spent 35 years in the banking industry before taking the job as Interim GM here at the club. He has four daughters who live in Minneapolis and Hood River, Oregon. Mike's partner, Doris Wenger, is a physician at Mayo and an avid golfer.

Jennifer Becker, Food & Beverage Supervisor

Jennifer Becker started at RGCC in March 2004. She started here as a part-time bartender/server and then moved into a full-time position as bar manager. She loves the atmosphere and the 'family feeling' of RGCC. She takes great pride in knowing our members and providing personalized service to each and every one.

Jennifer has two children: Drew, 12, and Cody, 10. She enjoys cooking, baking, Minnesota Gopher hockey and spending time with her two boys.

Jeffrey Follett, Property Accountant

Jeff Follett has been at RGCC since April 2008. Jeff previously worked at the Austin Country Club as the Office Manager/ Accountant and then the General Manager. He is an active member of the Hospitality Financial Technical Professionals (HFTP) where Jeff was awarded the Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive (CHAE) designation and is also a member of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA).

Jeff is a native Minnesotan living in Austin with his wife Geri. They have two children, Jennifer and Pauline, and two grandchildren, Tyler-Ruby and Robert. Jeff enjoys spending time with family, home projects, gardening and traveling.

Kendra Markee, Sales & Catering Director

Kendra Markee started at the RGCC in April of 2003. She started here part time as a server/bartender and was a full-time student at RCTC, practicing to become a Registered Nurse. She then moved to a full-time position as the Food and Beverage Assistant/Bar Manager. She takes pride in knowing the members and providing personalized service to each and every one.

Kendra has lived in Rochester her entire life. She is engaged to her fiance, Adam, and has one stepdaughter, Alexis. She enjoys traveling, music, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Matt Paulius, Head Golf Professional

Matt Paulius is in his first year as Head Golf Professional at Rochester Golf & CC. He previously worked at the Minneapolis Golf Club as 1^st Assistant Golf Professional. He became a Class “A” member of the PGA in 2011 and graduated from Minnesota State University, Moorhead with a B.S. in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Advertising. He brings great experience and enthusiasm to RGCC.

Matt is living in Northfield with his wife Lindsay. They have two children, Cowen and Lily. Matt enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and sporting events.
