Wednesday Junior Golf & Kid's Club

Wednesday Junior Golfers have the opportunity to stay at the club all day via Kid’s Club.  Junior Golf will finish around 11am for all levels.  At that time, parents can either pick-up their kids or they can stay at the club for Kid’s Club.

We will provide lunch, charged to the member account, and then have activities and swimming.  Parents may pick-up their kids at any time through-out the day, but all kid’s must be picked up by 5:30pm, unless they have a signed note stating they can stay at the pool under the supervision of the lifeguards.

Non-member guests who participate in Junior Golf will also be able to stay for Kid’s Club.  Lunch will be charged to the sponsoring member’s account.

Member’s kids who do not participate in junior golf, but wish to attend the afternoon Kid’s Club on Wednesday’s may do so.

If inclement weather, there are rooms set aside in the clubhouse for Kid’s Club.  On these days, PG rated movies may be shown, in conjunction with other games and activities.

What does beginner, intermediate & advanced mean?

This was a common and great question from last year.  Here are the guidelines we use, and ask that you use to determine where your junior golf should be placed.

Beginning Golfers
Little to no experience on the golf course.  New golfers up to golfers still working on basic fundamentals such as grip and stance.  Would need a lot of supervision on the golf course.  Cannot play 3 or 4 holes in 60 minutes if playing every shot out.

Intermediate Golfer
Has grasp of swing fundamentals such as grip and stance.  Basic knowledge of course etiquette and rules.  Hits the ball far more often than misses it.  Could play 3 or 4 holes in 60 minutes with only light supervision.

Advanced Golfer
Good understanding of swing basics.  Strong understanding of safety, etiquette and rules of the game.  Needs no real supervision on the golf course.  Can play 9 holes in under 2 hours.

We ask that you use best judgment and consider the other junior golfers in the class before placing your junior in one of these sections. If you need assistance in determining the best class for your junior golfer, the professional staff will be happy to help.
